Document, or design-first, approaches to API design are increasing in adoption. Or at least that's what I'm lead to believe with this latest batch of pieces in the REST API notes. Keith Casey shares a numbe of different documentation styles. There's also a number of related pieces which further flesh out the role API descriptions play in a modern production workflow.
I also share a number of recent presentations from the API Academy. This early spring, the team was out in force, educating about APIs in a variety of forums around the world. *Per usual*, they've shared their work, and we're the better for it.
